Taking it easy in our last days in Greece

Its the third week of August and Mike and I are just taking it easy until we leave for the states next month. We did our last grocery shopping today
We still have to go to Athens Mike has business there and hopefully get up to the village to say good by to relatives and enjoy more roast pig on the spit He also owes me a trip to Loutrukie for one more seafood dinner

Yesterday we attempted Athens to see the Acropolis only to discover it was closed on Monday. We are going back however we did a lot of skipping around on the Metro(subway) in America and I never saw so many people in my life stuff into one of the cars this by the way was all withing Athens talk about LA this place is fantastic so is Greece as I see more

We are in Arginio Mikes home town

We arrived in Arginio Mikes home town yesterday. We are here for about a week and the weather is much warmer than on the coast. It was a long drive over about 2 and 1/2 hrs up mountains along side of mountains then dropping down to solid ground. Greece is mainly all mountains land is scarce people either build on the slopes of mountains or go into high rises , we are staying on the fifth floor of Mikes brothers apartment He lives on the third floor. Parking is the pits road are so narrow only one car can get through and no matter where you go when you cannot find parking you park on the sidewalk or double park. I will try and take a picture of two of what I mean. I let Mike do the driving
I have pictures to post but I am not sure when I will do that Mike is at the cafe with his brother I am waiting for him to get back
I would like to hear from some of you from Old Whippersnappers I cant seem to find anyone when I go on facebook in the morning

We are in Greece

Hi everyone
We made it to Greece been here for a week now but it took us a week to settle in. Hope to take a walk later on and take a few pictures of the Ageanen Sea. Sunday we travel to Koran to begin the celebration of the Apsotolic St Paul. In this area he and St Peter are celebrated it is also Pauls name day. I hear lots to eat and drink, will take pictures
Finally got on a usb port conncection good deal it was a promotion and cheap monthly. Finally figure out the english part for awhile some of this blog was in greek

We are waiting for our ride to take us to the airport Stephanie should be here in an hour
I am getting some plane jitters especially when Mike starts talking about something going wrong with the plane and its time for all 500 to leave this earth.
Guess it is time to take a stress pill or something
